2024 Tai Chi Offerings

by Elizabeth and Jerry

Holley Hall, 1 South Street, Bristol, VT, 05443

Class Structure– Classes are designed to offer easy to practice fundamental movements for everyday activities. Drills and Qigong apply to the form being studied, are often parts of the form itself. It may seem to take a majority of our time in class, with less time spent learning the actual form movements. Relax and rest assured you will be better prepared and more able to practice the movements in a sequence when you first understand why and how. Tai chi is an internal practice with an external expression. Learning how the hands move, when “t”he hands do not move on their own”, is one of the first ‘secrets’ to grasp.

Monday Classes

These classes have no specified fee and are free of charge, we volunteer our time in class to be with you.

Classes are partially sponsored through Age Well, thus reducing the venue cost for the use of the space. However, many churches and organizations have had to begin nominal charges after updating ventilation systems during COVID, among other increased expenses. After many years and workshops of training, we continue to attend updates to bring you more in depth practice and knowledge. Contributions are appreciated to support these activities.
